This headboard is crafted from solid teak wood and features a classic design with hand-carved ornamental details. The structure is sturdy and straight, but it stands out for its upper decoration: a finely sculpted garland of flowers and ribbons that runs along the top edge. In the center, it features a natural woven lattice panel, made using the traditional hand-woven wicker or rattan technique. Turned pilasters and carved finials complete the look, evoking Louis XVI or European colonial-inspired furniture. The current finish shows the natural, unvarnished wood, allowing the warm grain and characteristic golden hue of teak to be appreciated.
